The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History is located in the Cultural Center of the U.S. city of Detroit, Michigan. Founded in 1965, the museum holds the world's largest permanent exhibit on African-American cultural.
The Women's Committee is an auxiliary group of museum members who came together over 20 years ago, with Dr. Roberta H. Wright the wife of the museum’s founder as a charter member, to create fundraising events in support of the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Our activities include sponsoring Grandparent’s Day, Santa Claus @ Noel Night, and The Dr. Roberta H. Wright Golf Classic.
