Hospital for Special Care

Hospital for Special Care’s Charles H. Kaman Neuromuscular Center provides comprehensive care for patients living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular disorders. We’re also leading the way to a cure as one of the largest Healey ALS Platform clinical trial sites in the country.

More Details

The Travelers Championship, and Hospital for Special Care have raised awareness of ALS since Traveler’s chairman Jay Fishman first made his courageous battle with the disease public in 2015. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is an always fatal progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.

We’ve raised critical funds for patient care and research thanks to the Travelers Championship and fighters like you. We’ve celebrated new research, treatments and promising developments over the last year. We’ve also seen hardships. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to exacerbate daily challenges of living for many with the disease. We’ve lost dear friends along the way but we’re not done fighting.

Our commitment to providing the best care possible remains strong. Join us to raise critically needed funds to support the highly specialized clinical care our patients need and the research that will help us find a cure. Webster Bank and Enterprise will donate an additional 15% to all gifts. We won’t give up until there is a survivor.
