Ben Bronz Foundation, Inc. is the non-profit parent organization of Ben Bronz Academy and The Learning Incentive. The foundation supports students with learning differences through education, support and funding. Ben Bronz Academy in West Hartford, Connecticut, is a full-day school for bright children in grades 2-12 who struggle to learn. Ben Bronz Academy was founded in 1985 with the belief that every student deserves the chance to succeed. The Academy offers a full-time State of Connecticut Approved Private Special Education Program. Our goal is to help students with learning disabilities learn to identify and correct their functional weaknesses and to develop strong, spontaneous thinking habits that build self-confidence and foster greater curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Since its start, Ben Bronz Academy has enabled hundreds of bright students with learning disabilities to reach grade level and return to their home school with the skills for academic success. The Learning Incentive is an Individualized Learning Program for students who require a few hours a day of structured help. Some students have a learning disability, while others are working to do well in an AP course, improve an SAT score, or hone their study skills. The Learning Incentive enables greater academic achievement—often more achievement than the student thought possible. The Learning Incentive offers the following programs: an Alternative Program, Private Tutoring, Study Skills and a Basic Skills Program for Adults.
