More Details

CATCH is a children’s charity founded by the late Sparky Anderson in 1987 when he was manager of the Detroit Tigers. CATCH raises funds to provide a current and future source of funding for items and services that help improve the quality of life of sick, vulnerable and economically disadvantaged pediatric patients who receive care at Children's Hospital of Michigan and Henry Ford Hospital. Through an ongoing series of special fund-raising events and an annual giving campaign, CATCH funds have provided wheelchair ramp and lifts, therapies for children with autism and development disorders, safety sleep sacks for newborns, adaptive bicycles and tricycles, emergency funding for utilities and rent, post-discharge medication, temporary housing and shelter, beds and furniture and assistance for transportation needs.
