Assistance League of Houston Description
Assistance League® of Houston, a chapter of National Assistance League, is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization committed to serving children and adults in need in our community through a variety of philanthropic programs. The Houston chapter of Assistance League has been serving the Houston community since 1966, with 80 hands-on, dedicated volunteer members. These volunteers lovingly gave 6,783 hours in 2024-2025 (value of $235,981) to fund our 4 philanthropic programs dedicated to:
At the end of our fiscal year of May 31, 2025, Assistance League of Houston marked 58 years of serving those in need in the Houston area. Our culture is one of inclusion for all as we work hard to effectively serve our community’s needs. We identify and engage with community partners to advance our commitment to "transform lives and strengthen community", our tag line. Assistance League strives to provide an equitable, safe, and supportive presence here in Houston.
