PGA of America REACH Foundation Southern Texas is a 501(c)3 organization focused on impacting lives and communities through the transformative power of golf. Best known as PGA REACH Southern Texas, the Foundation was formed in 1994 and annually impacts thousands of individuals. Based in Spring, TX, PGA REACH Southern Texas brings together PGA of America Members and Associates with individuals striving for personal growth and excellence.

Our Foundation stands on four pillars:

Junior Golf:

The STPGA Junior Golf Program’s mission is to create lifelong golfers by fostering programs and tournaments for juniors of all skill levels. Through the STPGA Junior Golf Pathway, there is a spot for any junior, regardless of playing ability or experience. We believe that by placing an emphasis on Junior Golf, we not only develop high character individuals, but we have a direct impact on the future of the game of golf.

College Scholarships:

Education is a vital part in anyone’s life journey, and our Scholarship Program is a natural next step with our Junior Golf Program. We help young adults pursue their academic dreams by providing scholarships to graduating high school and current college students.

PGA HOPE

(Helping Our Patriots Everywhere):

We introduce golf to Veterans and Active-Duty Service Personnel with or without disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being while fostering camaraderie and wellness. This free program taught by trained PGA of America Members & Associates saves lives each year! 

Employment Opportunities:

The game of golf is nothing without people dedicated to our profession, and therefore, through internships and PGA WORKS, we focus on providing valuable work experience within the industry that young adults can either utilize to build a career in golf or elsewhere.
