The Education Foundation of Harris County provides support to students and educators through programs and initiatives that inspire discovery, promote creativity and problem-solving, build confidence, and encourage each child to reach for the stars and envision a future beyond the classroom.
The Education Foundation of Harris County (EFHC) has been serving the community since 1994, working to strengthen public education and fill the gaps so that nearly 1 million students and educators across 25 school districts have access to the tools they need to succeed.
Our Partners in Education programs include:
Tools for Teachers – providing supplies and resources directly to classrooms.
Classroom Grants – empowering educators to bring innovative teaching ideas to life.
Scholarships – helping students pursue higher education and career opportunities.
Our impact extends even further, with funding that supports schools and students through early childhood education, after-school programs, STEM learning, literacy initiatives, and the development of essential soft skills and critical thinking skills.
