More Details

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Connecticut & Western Massachusetts (RMHC CTMA) operates on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child—especially not where they will lay their head at night. In addition to providing safe, comfortable accommodations, our three core programs, Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut, Ronald McDonald House of Springfield, and the Family Room at Baystate Children's Hospital allow families to build a strong support system and establish friendships with other families facing similar uncertainties. Families reside at RMH for weeks, months, or even longer, when necessary. Beyond basic accommodations, the programs provides hot meals, access to the community pantry, laundry facilities, weekly activities and support services, and parking at no cost.

Each year, RMHC CTMA programs serve as a home away from home for hundreds of families from around the country and world. We’ve served over 25,000 families as their children seek essential healthcare, and we’ve helped families save nearly $2 million in hotel and food costs annually.
