Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church shall be a prominent magnet in the community to draw people to a new life in Jesus Christ.  All are welcome to worship. The church helps the community by serving meals at St. Vincent DePaul in Middletown, providing food donations to the Portland Food Bank and Middletown's Amazing Grace Food Pantry, supporting refugee families and donating to disaster relief efforts.  The church building is used by various nonprofit support groups and the Boy Scouts.  Zion is fundraising to restore its one-ton, bronze bell and to complete necessary repairs to its church building.
