Sterling Community Center is a multi-service community center located in the heart of Stratford, CT that has served our neighbors with programs and services for generations (over 93 years and counting!), including our Sterling Day Camp which will celebrate 83 years in operation in 2025 and serves hundreds of local kids each summer, sending them home each day tired, dirty, and excited to return for the next day of camp fun!

Since opening, Sterling Community Center has been dedicated to serving everyone from toddlers to senior citizens and we strive to provide affordable social, educational, creative, and recreational activities. Programs include athletics, summer day camp, preschool, after school enrichment, youth volunteer programs, chess club, art classes, karate, adult programs and community services including Stratford CT’s busiest food pantry. Our pantry serves over 5,000 individuals each year, and, overall, we reach over 10,000 individuals total through all our activities.
