Our Mission is to save dogs that are in life threatening situations whether it is due to an overcrowded shelter, abandonment, abuse or neglect. We believe that “we are not a rescue”, but a group of dedicated committed volunteers that bring together dogs and people as families.
Change a Life Dog Rescue is a 5O1C3 foster based all-breed rescue that specializes in working and herding dogs. We are located in East Haddam, CT. and have dogs in foster homes throughout the state. Since our inception in January, 2020 we have saved over 1200 dogs. Everyday thousands of good healthy dogs, that would make wonderful family members, die or are euthanized because there is no one there to help them. We are the ones that help them find their way out.
