STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way is a not-for-profit organization that has been serving individuals of all ages with Autism and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) in Fairfield County since 1952. We are dedicated empowering individuals and families to live fulfilling, self-directed lives within their communities.  Through person-centered support and innovative programs, we partner with each individual to discover their unique strengths, achieve their personal goals, and cultivate meaningful connections.  We believe in fostering inclusive communities where every person's dignity, choices, and dreams are respected and celebrated.
