The CCA’s mission is to avail comprehensive statewide services to all child abuse victims and their families through collaboration, systemic change, public awareness, prevention, and legislative advocacy.
The Connecticut Children’s Alliance, Inc. (CCA) was established in 1999 as a coalition of Child Advocacy Centers (CACs) and Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) dedicated to improving Connecticut’s response to child abuse. Through training, advocacy, and policy initiatives, we work to ensure that child victims and their families receive the specialized, compassionate care and services provided by CACs and MDTs. In addition to supporting our members, we develop and implement pilot programs to enhance the MDT response and strengthen victim support. CCA also serves as the Connecticut Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America.
