Caleb's Legacy of Love exists to honor the generous spirit and compassionate heart of Caleb by continuing his legacy of giving. We are dedicated to uplifting those in need through college scholarships at Houston Christian University, providing Christmas gifts and back-to-school supplies for children and families, supporting the homeless and their beloved pets — and helping however we can. Through every act of kindness, we strive to spread hope, dignity, and God's love, just as Caleb did!
Because our goal is to carry on Caleb's legacy of giving and helping all those in need, we have established two memorial scholarships at Houston Christian University: the Caleb Rickenbacher Memorial Scholarship to the School of Christian Thought and the Caleb Rickenbacher Memorial Scholarship in Criminal Justice. Our current recipients are: Tresten McArthur (Junior) and Jaydev Varma (Sophomore) for the School of Christian Thought and Michelle Davila (Junior) and Noah Busby-Jeffries (Sophomore) in Criminal Justice. We are excited to see what God has in store for them and future scholarship recipients going forward. In addition, we have given bags of toys and gift cards to families who needed a little extra at Christmas. It was always Caleb's heart that no child should be without presents on Christmas morning. We have also provided food and necessities for the homeless, especially those with pets because Caleb thought it was sad that the homeless would have to leave their pets behind if they wanted help at homeless shelters. At the start of this school year, we have helped families with their back-to-school clothing and supply needs. Plus, many more things to come!!!
