Honor the Past, Celebrate the Present, and Inspire Future Generations of Texas Golfers.
The Texas Golf Hall of Fame serves as the nucleus of golf in Texas, preserving the rich history and legacy of the game while celebrating the achievements of legendary players, dedicated contributors, and historic courses as we inspire future generations of golfers. We have six categories, induct every other year, and follow strict guidelines the first being a nominee must be 40 years of age, unless deceased, and has lived in Texas a minimum of 10 consecutive years while accomplishing his/her feats in the respective category.
As the bespoke institution for Texas golf, we bring together all allied associations to safeguard the sport’s heritage and promote its values statewide. With our two physical sites—the historic Walk of Fame at Brackenridge Park in San Antonio and our new anchor site at The Ronny Golf Park in Frisco, as well as a state-of-the-art digital museum, we make Texas' golf history accessible to all. Through these platforms and our soon to be announced Mobile Museum, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire future generations of junior golfers across Texas. The Texas Golf Hall of Fame is committed to ensuring that the stories, traditions, and impact of Texas golf continue to inspire and connect Texans now and for generations to come.
