Our goal is to reduce the number of suicides in our veteran community. At the same time saving many potential caring companions from euthanasia. Saving one vet, one dog and healing two hearts at a time.

Operation Paws on the Ground saves rescue dogs from high kill shelters and other unfortunate situations. We then work to match them with veterans in need as either companion dogs or service dogs. If they are matched as a service dog OPOG will work with the pair to receive proper training. All at no cost to our veterans.
