One More Dog Rescue

One More Dog Rescue believes that animals deserve our love, compassion, and respect. Our purpose is to rescue and provide care for orphaned, stray, and abused dogs. Through rehabilitation, socialization, and adoption, we strive to provide a humane service to all dogs that come into our rescue. Additionally, we provide awareness about the prevention of animal abuse and neglect as well as spay/neuter programs and their important effect on the crisis of pet overpopulation.

More Details

We are a Connecticut based dog rescue that relies solely on a network of foster homes. We are passionate about saving dogs - no matter the breed, age, or physical condition - who come from shelters or are relinquished by their owners, both in the Connecticut and Illinois areas. We are devoted to providing the best possible care for our dogs and finding appropriate, loving homes with families who will be dedicated to them for a lifetime. We have no paid employees, everyone who works with our rescue is on a volunteer basis, including our board members, adoption and event coordinators, fosters, transporters, and those responsible for other critical parts of our process. We rely on donations, fundraisers, and our adoption fees to help us pay for our dogs’ vet care, supplies, training, and other expenses.
