The Elderly Pet Organization is a 501C3 nonprofit organization that provides vital resources to at-risk senior companion animals. According to the American Veterinary Association, a cat or small dog is considered a senior at age 7, large dogs are seniors at age 6. We provide pet care packages around the country to at-risk, newly adopted senior pets. Seniors are the most vulnerable pets for adoption at shelters across the country, with the highest euthanization rates across all pet age categories. Our goal is to promote awareness of the benefits of adopting a senior companion animals and to encourage senior pet adoptions. We work with dozens of pet product manufactures to distribute pet essentials for newly adopted senior pets and at-risk senior pets.
