The Theatre Guild of Simsbury is a non-profit organization which was formed in 1972 by a group of Simsbury residents.

Since our inception our mission has been to enrich the Farmington Valley community by producing affordable and entertaining, quality theater, supporting arts education through our scholarship program and providing an outlet for creativity and community involvement.

Each year, we produce a Broadway style musical in the fall a Spring Play as well as Staged Readings throughout the year.

The Theatre Guild is run by our Board of Directors. Their job is to facilitate the guild in its financial, legal and technical aspects; as well as advertising and community relations.

Funds are received through area businesses advertising in our program, personal patrons and ticket sales, as well as donations. This patronage enables us to continue our annual productions and help fund scholarships for students in our community. While we serve the community by providing quality theatrical entertainment, each year the Theater Guild also funds a scholarship which is given to a graduating senior of the Simsbury High School in recognition of excellence in the performing arts.
