The Dear Jack Foundation provides impactful programs benefiting adolescents and young adults (AYA) diagnosed with cancer and their families to improve their quality of life from treatment to survivorship.
Our vision is to be a national leader in adolescent and young adult cancer programming, by giving patients, survivors, and their caregivers a community and support rooted in mental and physical wellness based tools and resources from diagnosis through survivorship.
More About Our Programs
Breathe Now
Dear Jack Foundation’s Breathe Now program for young adult survivors and their partners utilizes the tools of yoga, meditation, and therapeutic conversations to heal the mind and body and restore balance to their relationship post cancer.
“Not only was it a wonderful chance to reconnect with my partner, but a rare opportunity to connect with others who truly understood what we have gone through. The experience was incredibly validating and made me feel less alone. It far exceeded my expectations.” - 2023 Breathe Now Participant
LifeList
Dear Jack Foundation's LifeList program gives young adults, who are currently facing a life-threatening cancer diagnosis, something positive to focus on outside of their treatment through wish-granting and community connection.
"The Dear Jack Foundations truly is a great foundation for young adults who feel like we get lost in the shuffle of 'the cancer life'. You help us feel seen and loved. I can't thank you enough for all you have done for me thus far. I am glad to have been able to be a part of this foundation so far!" - 2022 LifeList Participant
