Catholic Charities provides compassionate human services to individuals and families no matter their faith, race, ethnicity, age, gender or circumstances. Our primary goal is to assist individuals and families experiencing a situational or environmental crisis, in order to meet their immediate basic needs such as; shelter, clothing, utility and rental assistance, prescription assistance, emergency transportation and infant and toddler needs. In addition, we provide case management to clients which includes programs addressing; Parent Education, Job Preparation and Readiness Training, Resume Preparation, Financial Budgeting Skills Education, SNAP Assistance and Early Childhood Reading Program.
Furthermore, we become an advocate for other Social Services and/or support such as; Mental Health issues, Educational needs, Transportation needs, Medical concerns or issues, Child Care needs, DCF involvement and support and Legal History. If a client would like to receive any of these additional services outside of the agency, case workers would provide a referral to another community service provider and assist the client in program enrollment.
