About Connecticut Foodshare:
Connecticut Foodshare is the food bank serving the people of Connecticut and a member of the national Feeding America network. In Connecticut nearly 470,000 people are experiencing food insecurity, including over 112,000 children.
We provided 40 million meals last year through a network of more than 650 community-based hunger relief programs and mobile food pantries, while also working on long-term solutions. More than 5,000 volunteers help power the work of Connecticut Foodshare. Last year, they gave more than 46,000 hours of service. Every gift or hour of service you give means more people get the help they need.
