Incorporated in 2005, Shepard Meadows is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International (PATH) Premier Accredited Center located on 26 acres in Bristol, CT. With a herd of 10 therapy horses, all programs are led certified instructors. Our mission is to support the growth and well-being of all individuals, including those with special needs, by providing Equine-Assisted Services (EAS) in a safe caring and professional environment. Programs include therapeutic riding, community lessons, hippotherapy (speech and language and physical therapy), horsemanship, seniors and military veterans, youth development, equine-assisted learning and psychotherapy, equine facilitation and equine Gestalt Coaching.
