More Details

Honor Connor is a suicide prevention organizatioin started in 2020 by Scott & Lisa Johnson following the tragic death of their son Connor at the age of 25.  It is dedicated to providing hope & healing to suicide loss survivors through a medically backed free education program entitled "Hold Onto Hope". The program offers a path to healing through shared experiences and expert guidance.

The annual "Walk & Talk for Hope" facilitates crucial conversations on mental health and substance abuse, aiming to reduce stigma and prevent suicide through early intervention. By providing Conversation Starter Tool Kits, they help families and friends to engage in meaningful dialogue with children and teens as well as adults.

Through storytelling, "The Honor Project" acknowledges individual struggles with mental health and loss, promoting resilience and remembrance in a supportive community helping to prevent future suicides by honoring how our loved ones lived.
