The Greystone Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity based in Avon. Our mission is to relieve the economic hardship of struggling households, improve financial literacy, and promote economic self-sufficiency. We serve a broad cross-section of ages, household types, and ethnic groups in the Greater Hartford region of Connecticut. Our all volunteer staff provides both monetary assistance and financial advice free of charge to clients. We work directly with eligible clients who are struggling to pay for housing, utilities, transportation, healthcare or other essential services.

Our program’s operating costs and overhead costs are self-funded such that all tax-deductible donations are used only for client monetary assistance.
