Our online platform www.URCommunityCares.org is the secure and innovative foundation on which Connecticut can build and expand local solutions for residents in need of home-based assistance. With a diverse working board and team of advisors, UR Community Cares (UCC) is a volunteer-led, and all direct program costs are funded by grants, municipal budget allocations, donations and sponsorships. Home support services are free of charge to enrolled participants who have online access to request their choice of household tasks, yard work, companionship and transportation. We support older and disabled adults and connect them to local volunteers to help them remain independent at home.
