More Details

The Museum, an anchor property in Connecticut’s oldest and largest historic district, features three historically significant, 18th-century houses (including two National Historic Landmarks). The campus also includes the state-of-the art, 9,200-square-foot Education Center; a restored 19th-century barn; a Colonial Revival Garden; outbuildings, including three preserved privies; and eight acres of fields and woods. Wethersfield is highly developed (70%) with little open space remaining - making the preservation, protection, and enhancement of the property even more vital.
