Bark Nation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the metro Detroit, MI area whose mission is to end canine cruelty. Bark Nation operates within 3 pillars: shelter enrichment, providing over 1,500 enrichment supplies to animal shelters across Michigan and Ohio yearly; shelter intervention, providing free sterilizations, microchips, and vaccinations to owned Detroit dogs (through a collaboration called Project Grace); and Pitness Protection, assisting law enforcement with the search, seizure and housing of dogs undergoing court proceedings for cruelty, neglect and dogfighting.
