Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels (FBS) is one of Fort Bend County’s oldest non-profit organizations and was formed in 1974. During our first year of service, FBS provided 20,000 hot meals compared to 438,000 during the height of COVID. 

Fort Bend Seniors now provides Meals on Wheels services to about 1,200 seniors daily. Fort Bend Seniors is the only organization that provides Meals on Wheels to all eligible persons 60 years of age and over regardless of income in Fort Bend or Waller Counties.

Today, FBS provides comprehensive services and programs including Meals on Wheels, congregate meals, transportation, case management, health screenings, information and referral services, recreation and more. Each of these programs and services enables area seniors to remain in their homes and continue to be an integral part of the community for as long as possible.
